Live Free Campaign: Police policy change
We are working to being about substantive policy change to the Oceanside Police Department by advocating for the goals of the Live Free Campaign.
In 2020 we successfully persuaded the City of Oceanside to open up a closed search for the next Chief of Police.
In 2021 we successfully persuaded the new Chief of Police to adopt an enforceable de-escalation policy.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING & Homelessness Solutions
Our team has begun the research phase for determine what issues we may campaign for related to homelessness services or solutions in North San Diego County. Click here to watch our October, 2021 Learning Lab conversation with local homeless advocates and service providers.
